How do I reset my calculator?

Most printing calculators have a reset button located either on the bottom of the unit or in the battery compartment. Visit the product page for your model to find the Product Manual for instructions on how to reset your calculator.

If this procedure has not successfully resolved your problem, follow these steps:

What does the “E” on my display mean?

The “E” stands for “Error”. This problem can usually be resolved by resetting your calculator. Visit the product page for your model to find the Product Manual for instructions on how to reset your calculator.

The “Error” can also be caused by Memory Overload. If you are using the Grand Total or Sigma function, be sure to periodically clear Grand Total and Sigma by pressing GT or Sigma Total twice.

Why won’t my printing calculator turn on?

This is usually caused by a power surge, which can be resolved by resetting your calculator. To reset your calculator, simply locate the reset button on the bottom or in the battery compartment.
